Wow, it is already JULY!

I can not believe it is July, already. I know it has been a while since I blogged, but I have no excuse.

We are having a great summer, and we are NOT ready to go back to school. It isn't that we don't like it, we just like the SUMMER LIFE better!! I am sure you know what we mean.

We have been to the beach in June, and are planning a Disney Christmas trip in December. The kids and I are trying to talk Daddy into a quick camping trip before school. I don't know if we will fit that in.

Someone in the family will turn 40 this year. I would love to plan a surprise party of a few friends, but I am bad about thinking and not planning. That is what I have in my mind for now, hopefully I will get something together.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everyone had a great Christmas and new year. We did around here.
Christmas was great. We all pretty much got what we wanted or, at least, needed. I am sure the kids would beg to differ. They got plenty, though. We were able to see family and friends, too. That is always fun.
New Year's is always a "blast" for our family. Dunc really LOVES to buy his OWN fireworks and shoot them HIMSELF. ( Thanks Dana for the help with this). Ada is trying to get into this also, but isn't quite there yet. Dutch enjoys the sparklers and smoke balls. He loves to run through the "stinky" smoke.
This year we got an outdoor fireplace for Christmas, so we lit a fire and sat outside for "the show". We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. It was a great time.
